What I Believe About the Nephilim

What I believe about the Nephilim, from what I have learned through scripture, the book of Enoch, and the prophets; the Nephilim were giants, but they had bodies of flesh like that of humans, and they lived in this world with bodies of flesh like humans, unlike angels and demons who are supernatural beings and use their supernatural power to function in both this terrestrial world and the spiritual realm. Human spirits live with bodies of flesh but have no supernatural power, and they are unable to communicate with the terrestrial realm once they are separated from their bodies. But human beings can operate in the supernatural by the Spirit of God, or the spirit of Satan and demons.

The Nephilim inherited bodies of flesh from their human parents, their mothers, and great size and great intelligence from their angelic fathers. But there is no evidence in scripture or the book of Enoch or from any prophet that they had supernatural power. Therefore, when God ordered the Nephilim to be killed and wander the earth as unclean spirits, having no supernatural power they would be unable to communicate directly with this world, and not allowed to go to heaven they would be impotent spirits unable to satisfy any desire, causing them suffering, but not as bad as the fires of hell. So, unless they were to get supernatural power from another source, like God or the devil, which we know God is not going to give them power because these were condemned spirits, but Satan and his demons would be able to give them supernatural power, just like he gives to the witches and sorcerers and dead spirits that he sends back up to the earth, such as the succubus.

Now, I fully believe that after the flood, and all sinful humanity was killed, God reimprisoned Satan and his demons because they lost their right to be on the earth and out of their prison in Hell, because it was sinful man who gave them that right. So, in the early days after the flood as man started to repopulate the earth, and demonic powers were beginning to be released back on the earth with limited authority to harm mankind, Satan and his demons may have not had authority to empower the Nephilim to harm mankind. But as the scriptures and prophets have revealed, more and more, and worse, demons would be released on the earth as mankind became more wicked, allowing for greater trouble and harm on humanity. Satan may at some point be allowed by God to empower these giant super intelligent spirits to harm mankind—Note that I have not read anything from scripture or the book of Enoch or the prophets that this would be the case—according to the book of Enoch, God killed the Nephilim for eating mankind, and this was a pre-flood wicked mankind.

So, will Satan be allowed to use the Nephilim to wreak havoc on mankind? I don't know, but I do know from a great prophet that after the first resurrection, all of hell, including all demons and monsters, some so horrible that they have not been allowed on the earth, will be released. The fact that God killed the Nephilim at the cry of wicked people and has kept the very worst demons from the earth shows God has mercy even in His wrath. But the final outpouring of God's wrath, the bowl judgments, which come after the seventh trumpet and first resurrection, all of Hell will be loosed on the earth, and the Nephilim will likely be one of the least evil spirit people will have to be afraid of.
